Q: Do you make vegan cakes or desserts?

A: Yes! In addition to vegan chocolate, vegan vanilla, and vegan red velvet cake, cupcakes we do have an ever-expanding list of vegan baked goods, including cupcakes, cookies, muffins, poptarts, brownies, and other delicious treats available in store everyday.

Q: Do you make nut-free cakes and desserts?

A: We are NOT a nut-free bakery, as there are nuts on the premises and we do not have a separate kitchen or equipment for nut-free baking.  However, a wide selection of our baked goods are nut-free.  If you are ordering a cake, let us know if there is a nut-related allergy (or any allergy for that matter) when you place the order and we are happy to make your cake using extra caution to avoid contact with nuts.  Just note that all of our equipment is shared between nut and non-nut cakes alike, so if the allergy is super-sensitive please use your own discretion before placing an order.  If you are stopping by our cafe for a treat, let the barista on staff know about any allergies and they can assist you.

Q: Do you make gluten-free cakes or desserts?

A: We do not currently offer gluten-free cakes.  Gluten allergies can be very sensitive and because we do not have a separate kitchen (flour can be messy at times) we cannot offer gluten-free options at this time.

Q: How much is delivery?

A: We offer delivery for large, multi-tiered cakes of 50 servings or more on a case by case basis. In-city deliveries are $50, and delivery outside the city is priced at $75 per hour round-trip. We calculate travel time using Google Maps. (Please refer to our pricing page for more info!)

Q: What is your pick-up/delivery policy?

A: We offer delivery for large, multi-tiered cakes of 50 servings or more on a case by case basis. Smaller cakes need to be picked up from our cafe.  

Q: When should I order my cake?

A:  To guarantee your date we recommend placing your order as far in advance as you can.  As soon as you’re sure you want a cake with us, even if you don’t have all the flavor or design specifics worked out yet,  you can pay the $100 non-refundable date deposit to reserve your spot in our schedule. We typically need all custom orders finalized and paid in full at least 7-10 days in advance, but do tend to book up farther out. 

Q: Do you provide a sketch of my cake?

A: We provide sketches on a case by case basis after the date deposit reserving your spot in the schedule is placed. 

Q: Can I order a custom sugar figurine without ordering a custom cake?

A: No, unfortunately we don’t make custom sugar figurines or toppers if they are not accompanied by a custom cake order. 

Q: If I have my own decorations, can I bring them to the cafe for you to put on my cake?

A: No, we unfortunately don’t add any decorations to the cakes that are not edible or made here in our cafe. If you have a topper or decorations you’d like on the cake, you’re more than welcome to add those at home after pickup! If you plan on adding a topper, you can let us know and we can leave space on the top of the cake if necessary. 

Q: Do you offer sheet cakes?

A: No, unfortunately we do not offer sheet cakes.

Q: Can we get a photo printed on a cake?

A: No, we unfortunately don’t offer edible printing on cakes. 

Q: Can I call ahead to reserve a cake from the case in the cafe?

A: No, we unfortunately don’t allow people to reserve the cakes in the cafe. These are all first come first served. If you need a last minute cake, your best option is to stop by the cafe to choose one from the case, and we can then add a message to the top for you!

Q: How do I add a message to my online Gourmet/Designer cake order?

A: When placing an online order for a Gourmet or Designer cake, there is a notes section upon checkout. This is the last step before placing payment. Please add the message you’d like on the cake to the notes section, and we can add it to the cake when decorating.
